I sat there, on the side of the road, staring at the billboard in disbelief. I turned the truck around as quickly as possible, hoping that my eyes deceived me. I only caught a glimpse of what was on the billboard, but immediately my stomach twisted into a knot. Glowering above the golden tree canopy, a billboard buzzed across my windshield. It was autumn in rural Virginia on a highway just outside of Richmond. That's how fast I was driving when I saw it. ![]() ![]() My work was mangled beyond belief.Ħ0 miles per hour. ![]()
